According to my friends, this candle smells 'like a rich person would live in this house' when I burn it. Can be a little overpowering at times, when burnt for hours on end in a open plan room. Need to open the doors after a while.Lovely

This has a strong throw and is suitable for larger rooms, doesn't really work in my small one as it's just too powerful. I love dark scents so I love the smell of this, but some people in the house hate it! Only buy if you love dark candlesLove

I was looking for a scent that was more like fireside in Queenstown. Not quite the same but probably the most similar in the collection. Love this scent, but will look for something stronger next time.Too sweet and gave me a headache
I was expecting a warm, spicy scent but this has an over powering sweet smell which i assume is coming from the white rose. Unfortunately this gave me a migraine, which i am very sad about because i wanted to love this.Smells lovely

i usually love all the glasshouse candles but this one was a miss for me. it was a bit old fashioned smell that i didn't like. the candle itself lasted for ages but i just burnt it in my bathroom as i didn't like the smell of it in the entire houseSultry but sweet

Glasshouse fragrances always have the greatest quality home fragrances, but I'm not the biggest fan of the scent itself because it's full of oud and that's a scent that makes me nauseous, especially when lit in a smaller room

This is such a favourite in our house. My husband doesnt like anything too floral or overpowering (I save those candles for my study!) so this is perfect for burning in the living areas. It has quite good throw and is a little bit spicy and exotic. I dont really smell much rose, it has more of a luxurious creamy kind of warmth to it. Definitely one we've repurchased a few tiems now.Amazing

I have the Arabian Nights candle from Glasshouse Fragrances, encased in black glass and metallic gold triangles arranged in a mosaic style. It's so pretty when it's alighted, the wood oud and amber really comes out.
