How to Hydrate Your Skin with a Lancôme Skincare Routine
There is one product that I swear by and it's a must-have in everyone's beauty routine, which is the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum.
It's like a little black dress in the way a little black dress is a staple for the wardrobe and looks great on all shapes, sizes and ages. Advanced Genifique is that little black bottle for your skin care routine, it will work on all skin types and all ages.
I have combination skin, and at 30 my biggest concerns are fighting those first signs of aging and maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion.
So basically, my routine is all about the best Lancôme Skincare for 30’s. For me, that means highlighting hydrating products like the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum, that help me see a serious difference in my skin.
My biggest tip for anyone struggling with their skin would be to have a good skin care routine that works for your skin type and concerns.
My Love Affair With Lancôme
I started my love affair with Lancôme in 2010 and since then I have travelled to Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing, Korea and London representing Lancôme alongside our Global Makeup Director.

What is the fastest way to hydrate your skin?
Hydration is the key to luminous, glowing skin. The quickest way to achieve this effect is through applying light layers of hydration and nourishing the skin’s barrier. This can be achieved by applying hydrating serums, essences, toners, moisturisers or masks.
When it comes to hydration I definitely think the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum is a game changer, once I started using it daily I noticed such a difference in my skin.
Another game changer is of course, drinking water. Internal hydration is key to any successful beauty routine.
My simple hydrating skin care routine

Cleanse the skin using the Lancôme Galatee Confort Comforting Cleansing Milk. This cleanser is a rich creamy texture which leaves the skin feeling silky soft. It's infused with nourishing milks and proteins to gently remove any makeup and impurities from the skin. Apply a small amount to the fingertips and warm up the product in the palms of your hands and massage onto the face. Using a hot towel or tissue remove the cleanser and tissue off the excess.

My newest skin obsession is a beauty essence, this is a skin care trend which emerged from Korea and has made such a difference to my skincare routine. Lancôme recently launched Lancôme Clarifique, a clarifying brightening beauty essence. Clarifique works to mimic your skin's natural enzymatic process, which improves the skin's clarity, tone and boosts the hydration levels in the skin. It has a bi-phase technology with 97% of the essence infused with French Beech Bud extract, and 3% lipidic oils. There is a small whisk in the center of the product, which you use to shake the product from side to side to activate the bi-phase technology and create thousands and thousands of micro bubbles which then disburse onto the skin. I usually apply about the size of a 20 cent coin into the palm of my hands and then press the Clarifique gently into the skin.

Next step is my holy grail skin care product, the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum. I love the fact that Genifique is a universal serum that is designed for all skin types and all ages. Genifique is powered by science and works to strengthen the skin's microbiome. Your microbiome acts like your skin's living ecosystem, so when we have a strong well balanced microbiome it means our skin can better defend itself, recover a lot quicker, and the quality of the skin looks much healthier. Genifique has a self-loading dropper that delivers the perfect amount of product to your face and neck upon each application.
Hot Tip: When I’m backstage at fashion week I mix a small amount of Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum into the foundation to create a second skin finish, and the model’s skin really glowy. I then tap a small amount on the higher points of the face to highlight the skin.

Finish with a hydrating moisturizer like the Lancôme Hydra Zen Glow. The texture of this moisturizer is super lightweight with a concentrated formula to ensure your skin stays hydrated for 24 hours. Hydrazen Glow has Aloe Vera and Rose Extract to de-stress and soothe the skin, as well as Amino Acids and Hyaluronic acid to enhance moisture retention and hydration.
