Whether you’re a skincare junkie, or beauty voyeurs like us, knowing what skincare other people use in their routines; the serums, moisturisers and other lotions and potions they’re currently slathering on their faces and what they have on their top shelf is always fun.

For this instalment, we asked Beauty IQ Uncensored podcast co-host Hannah Furst what she is currently using in her AM and PM skincare routine.

Hannah’s Current AM Skincare Routine.


1. Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser.

"I’ll start with cleansing. I always cleanse in the shower, at the moment I’m using the Dermalogica Daily Glycolic Cleanser.

You can use it everyday, but it’s also got glycolic acid which is good for getting the dead skin cells off and then also helps your other products and ingredients to penetrate the skin.”


2. Hada Labo Lotion No.1 Super Hydrator.

  • One of these lotion-in-essences sells every three seconds in Japan.

  • Suited to all skin types and particularly ideal for dry skin.

  • Also contains glycerin for moisturising the skin.

Why it's on Hannah's skincare shelf:

"It’s cheap and it’s really good. It’s more watery, I would say it’s like an essence. It's super hydrating. I love the Hada Labo products, they're so good."


3. SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF.

What: SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF

Fast facts:

  • Hero ingredient phloretin is a potent antioxidant molecule derived from the bark of fruit trees.

  • Phloretin has been studied in the medical community for pigment-regulating.

"After I use the vitamin C I’ll use a vitamin B. I chose this one because this one has got peptides in it as well. Good for anti-ageing.”
