In Partnership With Klorane.
Someone hand me a soapbox, I gotta rant for a sec.
Having fine hair is both a blessing and a curse.
On the one hand, it dries at the mere sight of sunshine, making hair-wash days a cakewalk, not a chore. But on the other hand, grease can quickly turn a fresh ‘do flat just days after washing it.
I know what you’re thinking, my thick-haired friends: first-world problems blah blah blah.
But spare a thought for those of us lighter on the locks, forever chasing volume while resisting the urge to slick our strands back into a bun by day two, knowing that every time you do, your hairdresser dies a little inside.
(Claire, if you’re reading this, I’m trying my best, OK!?)
It’s a game of tug-of-war that I do not and will not participate in–and I love games.
That is, at least, since I got my hands on Klorane’s new dry shampoo.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat and CERAMIDE LIKE Dark Hair Tinted
If you're no stranger to the world of dry shampoos, you've probably heard of Klorane.
Considered the GOAT of dry shampoos, the French brand has been refreshing our locks since ‘71.
They made oat milk beauty a thing before any of us even thought to put the dairy alternative in our coffee cups.
Klorane’s dry shampoo was originally made for new mothers in hospitals who’d just given birth. Now, one is sold every 11 seconds worldwide, making it the most-awarded dry shampoo ever.
It’s even been backed by Margot Robbie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whitely–all great hair-havers, might I add.
Its success considered, you may be wondering why Klorane released a new version of its cult dry shampoo.
Well, the new Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat and CERAMIDE LIKE has been ‘skinified’ to include a 100% natural active ingredient that mimics ceramides to help repair, shield and strengthen our scalp and strands for healthier hair.
Here are some other notable features:
Gentle dry shampoo that’s dermatologically tested.
Soaks up excess oil, sweat, and odours for fresh hair, sans water.
Adds texture and volume, without that heavy feeling or crusty residue.
Designed to blend seamlessly with all hair types, with a tinted version for dark tresses.
Formulated with 99% natural origin ingredients including corn and rice starches, and kaolin clay.
To complement Klorane's new dry shampoo is the Quinine strengthening range.
This three-step system, including shampoo, conditioner and treatment, is formulated with quinine and vitamins B5 and B5 to tackle hair loss and thinning for fuller, thicker locks – just what this fine-haired writer needs.
Klorane recommends pairing the Oat & Ceramide LIKE Dry Shampoo with the Quinine range to give your hair an extra boost of vitality.
A handful of my colleagues and I, who all have different hair types, tried both the Klorane Dry Shampoo and Quinine range.
