I've been using this cleanser for about six months and it is do gentle on my skin. My skin is very dry and a lot of the time cleansers will dry out my skin ever more and make it feel like I've rubbed sandpaper over my face. This product is the first La-Roche Posay product that I used, as I needed to settle my redness. I noticed an immediate improvement in my skin inflammation. It was very calming. Not great at removing makeup, however, it was more effective when used with another cleanser as part of a double cleanse. I used this when my skin was sensitised and my usual cleanser was making my skin red. It's a light cream cleanser that washes away cleanly without drying out my skin. I used this morning and night every day while my skin was at its worst and it didn't make my skin worse. I only need a pea sized amount and this tube lasts for ages.Great cleanser

My skin can get oily, but is also prone to dryness so finding a good cleanser is difficult. This is great though. No irritation (I have rosacea), isn't overly drying and cleanses gently. Not sure how well this would take off makeup. I find sometimes I have to cleanse twice to get my sunscreen off, but I don't mind.
