Best primer ever
This stuff is magic, visibly blurs pores and imperfections and feels so silky going on. Makeup sits well over it, I even use it after sunscreen and my makeup doesn’t cake it peel. So sad they’ve discontinued this product. I’ve just bought 6 tubes to keep me going.Really good

If you like serious glow, then this is for you. This primer beautifully fills and blurs all bumps and enlarged pores, but it is sparkly. Like very sparkly. If you don't like shimmer stay away, but if you love it - this is for you!Up there with the faves
This primer is up there in my top 3. A smooth gel rather than a cream. If you don't match it with the right moisturiser it can get a bit gummy but with a light, day moisturiser that's allowed to soak in a bit before priming, it's a beautiful, smooth, perfecting base. Works perfect under Estee Lauder double wear foundation.Not a fan
I much prefer the Illuminator version of this primer. I find that this version leaves my skin feeling oily and my pores clogged, and results in my make up having a weird in between matte and sheer finish.Even our skin tone, good for oily skin
This primer helps even out the skin tone and texture a lot, however the texture of itself is a bit too thick. I have combination skin and oily T zone, the primer sets my T zone perfectly, but slightly dry for the cheeks.Great

Instantly this primer feels smooth and soft, like your skin is a velvet pillow. It applies really well and plumps the skin, ready for makeup application. Starts off well but then after applying makeup I don’t see any remarkable difference. Was great to have the opportunity to try this sample but yet to find a primer that really delivers.Maybe not for me

I like to use this one at nigth when i am going out to dinner and my skin is not oily, it really does help my makeup go on so much nicer and feel good toorecommend

Initially, I really liked it - my makeup went well on top despite the fact i've had problems with silicone primers before. However, the next time I tried it I used a serum and moisturisor (The Ordinary) underneath, it started balling up as I pressed it into my skin, and clumps of product came off my skin. This was a tad drying for my dry/combo skin type.Awful - clumps and balls
I received a sample of this and it went straight into the bin. At first it felt nice and smooth in my hands but as soon as it was on my face it instantly started balling up and forming awful clumps. It is definitely not a universal primer as it does not mix with most makeup and skincare. Would not recommend.Favourite primer
This is by far the best primer I have used. It is gel like texture that just melts into my skin. I have normal to oily skin with fine lines around my eyes :( and my make up looks so much smoother when using this primer. It's expensive but does it job so well I can justify the costGood product

At first I was very impressed with it. It makes the skin feels so smooth and soft. But once I put any of the EL foundation on, it starts forming little clumps and starts crumbling off. It also causes the foundation to look patchy and leaves the skin feeling tight and dry.smooth

Got this as a free sample. Have tried it a couple of times under foundation. It's works well and keeps makeup intact. Staying powder of foundation is improved with this primer but nothing amazing as I have oily skin.Silky

This primer was very smoothing and blurred pores but didn't help at all with oil control, so not good if that's what you're after. Felt smooth and not sticky on the skin.Great for hiding the pores

I've previously used the EL mattifier every day so I'm keen to try the smoother. The primer is thick and makes my makeup set quickly even if it's humid/ hot. So I'm excited to try this in the summer heat. Just make sure you blend your foundation quickly as it can be hard to touch up once the foundation has been added to primer.

i found that estee lauder double foundation is best worn with a hydrating primer under it where this primer comes in. this primer feels so nice on the skin and would create a smooth base for the foundation to be gilded onto it. have dry skinFlawless makeup

I don't get extreme breakouts, just little bumps, so I gave it a few tries to see if it was a one-off occurrence, but it happened every time.
