Not suitable for my hair.
I received a sample of this & although it smelt great my hair felt very dry after using.

I've been searching for this scent since I was 15 and had something similar in a professional salon, long story short - I finally found it, but the smaller sizes were just not friendly on my wallet. These 1L are great value for money and this is hands down my fave shampoo in the world - especially as I only need minimal shampoo for a good lather!Favourite Aveda Shampoo
Having tried the Invati Shampoo and this one, I much prefer this one. It's less expensive, super moisturising, and smells amazing. The scent is strong, so if you don't like a sweet cherry scent may not enjoy it, but I love it and the scent stays on your hair even after you've washed it out. Also love the option of a bigger bottle for economic and environmental reasons.

Received a sample before and I decided not to buy the full size . I have long dry hair and I do not like cherry scent. (It smells like cherry but no almond scent). It dose cleaned my hair very well but it has to be used with the conditioner. My scalp got oily the next day..... I will recommend this series to people who have healthy, short hair.Does soften
In conjunction with the conditioner this does provide softening and hydration - I have lots of long thick wavy hair which is low porosity and prone to frizz. BUT I was let down by the smell, i’m Used to the herbal tones of Aveda products, this was sickly sweet for me.AMAZING!!
Amazing shampoo! I use the conditioner as well and find it a perfect balance between cleansing and conditioning my hair. It is definitely not stripping on my coloured hair and smells incredible.smells like heaven

Have used this five times for now.So far very good, and am hoping with continued use they will prove to be excellent. Hair feels stronger already. Nice consistency and smell. Will also purchase the serum.Wouldnt buy again
The smell is not good at all, I didn't enjoy that but the shampoo does do what it claims. It makes your hair feel soft and clean. It's not something that I would go out of my way to buy because it doesn't do much in comparison to the competition. Best thing it does is make you hair feel clean and no frizz.So disappointed!
Sooo disappointed with this :( I quite like Aveda products and I was really excited by the sound of this shampoo. I thought cherry and almond would be beautiful and the packaging looks so nice. Unfortunately, the smell is so AWFUL that I couldn't even bring myself to try it and I will be returning it. It smells like a horrible medicine. Would not recommendAmazing Scent
I recently got my hands on both the softening shampoo and conditioner. The scent is really beautiful , more almond scented , with a hint of cherry . the shampoo cleansed my scalp well without drying out too much . I have a dry scalp that flakes very much , and this has been a pleasant surprise.

I have coloured curly hair and I often blow dry it straight.
Although this shampoo smells lovely, it felt like it didn’t cleanse my hair enough and it made my roots quiet oily.

I really wanted to like the new Aveda shampoo as I couldn't wait to smell the cherry almond scent. But it's not what I expected as it has a very strong floral scent. I have coloured thick hair and this shampoo wasn't enough to cleanse my hair. Will be going back to my colour conserve shampoo.Smells awful
