This product doesn't really lather up, so I found it quite hard to remove makeup with. I ended up feeling like I needed to keep adding more as it didn't feel like it was cleaning my skin effectively, but obviously this is not ideal as you don't really want to be wasting money doing this for each cleanse. Not sure if it would be effective enough to remove an initial oil cleanse either.Great, But Not Amazing, Cleanser
I do enjoy using this cleanser, I think it's effective, simple. and gentle on the skin, probably something better for sensitive/dry skin types. I do wish there was more of a foam, or lather for the product, but that's just a personal preference. The cleanser isn't anything to rave about, but it does the job well!Very gentle - good for sensitive skin
The cleanser is a very gentle product that can be used as a daily cleanser. Great for winter and dry skin, but for oily and combination skin may not be suitable.
For the price, the product is reasonable especially for AESOP. Faint herbal smell that you get with Aesop products.

Gentle everyday cleanser that’s not too harsh on sensitive skin types. You don’t need much product and doesn’t foam when using. Subtle scent that’s not overpowering (like some Aesop products).Awesome

I found this cleanser to be extremely light weight. It felt really moisturising on my skin but it didn’t lather up as much as I usually like my cleansers too. Much like other Aesop products the aroma was powerful but pleasant. I only used a sample of this but I would buy more to give it a proper go on my complexion.Nice, but not amazing.

This truly is a fabulous face wash because it is so calming and soothing on my dry and sensitive skin. I would highly recommend this. I typically use this in the morning and it doesn't strip my skin of the glow and moisture i applied the night before but still makes my face clean. I have oily/combination skin and have found this cleanser great for controlling my skin. I use it most mornings (other than when I need to exfoliate) and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. You don't need to use much as the cleanser goes a long way after adding a little water. Also a really good price + my boyfriend loves it too!Great for the price and lasts ages
I have acne prone, sensitive skin and this was a great cleanser to prevent breakouts. I only used it at night time and noticed a difference within the week. Definitely a great cleanser for how cheap it is. The bottle is small however it lasts for a long time. I ended up buying the larger size after I had finished with this one. Worth it.Lovely
This is a great product. You need very little to wash your face and there is absolutely no residual dryness (I have mature skin). Following use, my face feels clean and refreshed, and I have noticed an improvement in the clarity of my skin. It is a 'barely there' type of wash, and those who like a foam make not appreciate this. I will continue to buy this cleanser.
