  1. Brighter more even skin

Absolutely obsessed with this product. With regular use my overall skin tone has improved 100%. Skin is brighter and more even and I have had many complements on how great my skin is looking (especially as I'm in my late 40's). Cons: formula is gritty however in saying that my latest tube isn't so I am unsure whether the formula has changed or something else is going on with it). Also, as I use it at night I have found that the vitamin C leaves a yellowish stain on my white pillowcase however, I can definitely live with that. Pros: Brighter, clearer and more even skin.
  2. Excellent Vitamin C Treatment

I use this every morning after cleansing, and yes, it stings a little at first, but my skin quickly adjusted to it. I’ve used some higher end Vitamin C's but for my combination type skin this one by the Ordinary is perfect for my skin.
  3. Favourite Vitamin C treatment from The Ordinary

I love this serum. I find it a bit greasy to put on, but I like this for an overnight treatment as it feels really hydrating as well as active. Helps with blemishes and overall skin tone clarity.
  4. Great

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago to target my pigmentation on my face so far is has lightened my skin.
  5. Great

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago to target my pigmentation on my face so far is has lightened my skin.
  6. Helps with even skin tone

I purchased this to help even out my skin tone and brighten. It does have a tingling/stinging feeling at first, so I mixed it in with my moisturiser but now I use it on its own and feel like your skin just needs to be eased into the product. When I was wash my skin of a morning, you can feel the difference in smoothness and I can see my skin looking brighter.
  7. Basically Life-Changing

I've tried a lot of The Ordinary products, and picked this one up on a whim. I have fairly sensitive, red-prone, freckly, pale skin, with my main issues being uneven skin tone and dullness. I noticed HUGE changes to my skin using this! My skin was quite good after using the Salicylic Acid, but...this was another level. My skin is so bright & evenly toned, I can hardly believe it. Makes my skin look young & fresh! Just amazing! I was worried it might be a bit harsh, but I have not found that an issue at all.
  8. It actually works

I suffer from bad pigmentation and have tried everything, from numerous vitamin c creams and serums to laser and peels. This product actually works. My pigmentation has definitely decreased after a month of using it. My skin looks brighter and more even. I was sceptical because of the low price but its better than expensive products I've previously used. It does tingle and cause a slight itchiness for about 10 minutes after applying.
  9. Powerful stuff!

My skin has acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and redness.

My main concern is to get rid of the acne, acne like spots or scars etc. It is strong so use a little bit - I mix mine in with a basic moisturizer. Worth it completely! I feel my skin always looks really bright the next day!!
  10. Good for evening skin tone

I use this product always at night due to the gritty feel. Having said that, especially when I combine with the Granactive Retinoid, I think the grit makes it a more effective product. I find when I use it at night, the next morning my skin looks clearer and even toned. I use a lot of vitamin cs to even out my skin tone and this is definitely one of the most effective I have used, even better it is so cheap!
  11. Brightens skin

I have a lot of pigmentation and mixed with resveratrol, it slightly stings but has improved my complexion and sun spots and my skin just looks better
  12. So affordable and excellent

So after purchasing serums from the ordinary i thought to give vit c a try this time . Overall , as expected its amazing and the good thing is its so affordable. I have seriously noticed a huge difference in my skin after using this ..
  13. Not sticky.....

I have tried vitamin C serums before and they have been sticky, this vitamin C suspension isn't sticky at all, I had prepared myself for a grainy feel as per other reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find a lovely smooth feel. I let the suspension dry for a few minutes before applying moisturizer and my 70yo skin has never looked better.
  14. Sensitive skin beware

I have been using this product for the past year and although it gives my skin a boost, I do find having sensitive skin that I have to dilute it. I initially used it on its own on my face & neck and the tingling made me want to scratch. I now only use it on my face and dab a couple of dots under eyes and cheeks, then I blend it in with my normal moisturiser. This method works a treat and I have no problem using it there but I cannot use it on my neck at all. Given this is great value, I would recommend it but for sensitive skin people, it is essential to do a patch test first and see how you react.
  15. Affordable Vitamin C

Good product for those on a budget wanting to incorporate Vitamin C. I have repurchased this many times. It's not my favourite Vitamin C, but you can apply liberally without feeling guilty
  16. Progress update after a month

I bought this product a month ago to combat the hyperpigmentation and redness I have from some old acne. I didn't see any huge difference in appearance the first week (though it had made it the smoothest it's ever been), now happy to report that my redness has very much diminished! Yes, it still stings a little - but worth the mild discomfort for smooth skin
  17. Love it ❤️

This vitamin C product is amazing! I haven’t found it to be grainy at all. The first night I buffered it with moisturiser as I was concerned about the tingling, the second night just by itself. On both nights I found you can definitely feel it! But it subsides within a minute or two. I’ve alreay had a complement on how fresh my skin looks after just one use! Excited to see long term brightening effects. Amazing for the price.
I have oily/dehydrated skin, 26 years old, concerned with brightening the skin and age management.
  18. Great for dark spots and scaring. Bad for blackheads

First of all I love the Ordinary range and have been using it for a while now. I decided to try this because I felt it might help with scaring ect. I have oily sensitive skin and wasnt too bothered about the oily texture and the intense tingling feeling as I already use the Retinol 2% combined with the Glycolic Toner.
Pros : it got rid of some of my sun damage and has started to reduce my old acne scaring.
Cons: Blackheads galore and it started to irritate the skin around my nose.
Going forward i'm only using this as a spot treatment on scars and dark spots
  19. High strength Vitamin C

So this cream BURNS but it works.

It has an almost gritty texture and will leave an oily film over your face so only use it at night. I mix it with a plain moisturiser because otherwise, it stings my face too much.

It is probably the only product I have used that has given me such dramatic results for my acne marks. If you have gotten a fresh scar/mark, just dab a little right on top of it and it helps with the discolouration a lot. You can also use to heal spots and minimise scarring.

I'd use it more often and on my entire face if it didn't irritate so much
  20. Be warned!

Oily faced, blackhead-prone people beware - I got this for Christmas and after the first few nights of using it absolutely loved how it made my skin look (even and glowy!). But a week on I realised my already ever present blackheads had multiplied. My skin feels dirty and clogged. Googled it and my worst fear was confirmed. If you have skin like mine (combo/oily, larger pores) this is not for you.
