What is certified organic skin care?
Organic regulations & practices are still not regulated in Australia, meaning that products are not required to adhere to any codes of practice. This is exactly why consumers should look out for ‘certified organic’ products with a certification logo.
The great news is that you don’t have to change your beauty regimen. All your favourite types of skincare - BB cream, lip care, anti-aging serums, moisturiser, body lotions and more - have been certified organic!
Does certified organic mean non-toxic?
Certified organic products use natural ingredients that are grown and processed under a strict code of cleanliness, with no pesticides or fertilizers, and no genetically modified organisms.
By contrast, the term ‘non-toxic’ is mostly marketing speak. It denotes that the skincare product may have avoided using ingredients known to cause issues but is not bound by regulation.
Therefore, while certified organic skincare products do remove the harmful petrochemicals and toxins, it pays to read the active ingredients to gauge if they have any ingredients you are sensitive to.

nice but not good for oily skin
Great value for a face oil
I find it very useful to have in the skincare regime, especially if you're exposed to sun or feel a little burnt. It's a great product to remedy dehydration, I treat is as a facial mask at night and go to bed with face feeling restored the next day.
