This product does magic like the flavone mud, but don't use them together, as this cleanser does stripped facial oil quite heavily. I notice it does clean the skin very well, but i wont use it daily as I feel dry after using. There is something so satisfying about this NIOD gen. It's not for cleaning make up off, so double cleanse with this beauty. It's also not necessarily for every day if you're a dry-skinned beauty. If you can get passed the unusual scent, this baby cleans and refines skins for a brighter, more even complexion. I love getting this guy a couple of times a year. Not my favourite NIOD product. It's runny, and smells like peanut butter, and I don't feel like I get the clean I need. Might suit other skin types but not for my normal/oily/combination skin. This is a gentle cleanser to use after you’ve removed your makeup. I’ve always like the idea of a double cleanse and this has made it easy to do without feeling like I’m stripping my face. It’s a very strong pungent smell but didn’t bother me too much. It’s a fairly runny product and it doesn’t lather at all. I didn't think that a cleanser could be so effective while gentle. It's been the only thing so far that really reduces my redness too as well as minimising pore visibility. As a huge fan of The Ordinary, I purchased this product prior to their release of a cleanser. I hate to say that I'm not impressed with it at all. It's not terrible, just not great. As stated in the description, it doesn't remove make up so keep that in mind. It also smells like you're rubbing Vegemite on your face!
Great for oily skin
My skin is very oily and this deep cleaning cleanser is great for my skin. I've used it as a mini mask for 5 minutes and as a classic cleanser and it leaves my skin looking smooth and my pores refined. Abit pricey but it is worth it if you have the extra coins.Must Have For Oily Skin

I love this product. Although it is in a weird spot on the cleanser spectrum, because it does not remove your makeup, it's worth the purchase. Take off your makeup, then apply this (you can even leave it for 10 min as a mask, but put some heavy moisturiser after because it is a little drying as a mask), and your skin feels like it's gone through a detox.Great detoxer for oily skin!

I use this cleanser as recommended - every other day in the AM or PM. I didn't think it was possible but right after washing my face with this cleanser my pores look almost non existent. The smell's kind of strange but bearable and I wish the packaging was better - you have to be careful when squeezing out the product or the tube will crack. This face cleanser was made for me! It is fantastic for combination skins and people who feel like they need a proper deep cleanse. I'm a fan of the Niod range but with the hype of this cleanser, I had to get one. Unfortunately its not as effective as expected. Its great that its gentle and soap free but it doesn't clean as well.
