I was reluctant to get this due to the price point but it is worth every cent. It took me a couple weeks for my skin to get used to it but now I'm using it every second night and I can definitely see the difference in the mornings. The consistency is lovely and it smells great. A great retinol - I have quite sensitive skin and have also used a lot of retinol products in the past... and either they didn't deliver, made my skin freak out or both. This one is different! I like this product because it's not super harsh and doesn't irritate your skin. This is my second tube, and I'll go up a strength when it's time to repurchase. So I purchased this in hopes to clear my post pregnancy skin. It worked amazing, it glides nicely, but not moisturising, so you will need a moisturiser on top of this. I did purge after the 2nd week introducing it, but I did expect it since I hadn't used a rentinoid cream for such a long time. This is a fantastic retinol option if you don’t want to or can’t get prescription strength. I found its consistency to be quite hydrating and you don’t need a lot. It’s quite strong and you definitely need to take your time easing into it.Exceptional

After using oil based retinol previously I was a bit surprised when i saw the texture of this one. Its very buttery and smooth. I used it sparingly as it glides quite well across the skin. I really like the crystal retinol range from medik8. It's allowed me to easily step up to a higher level with zero irritation due to it's special micro encapsulated formula. They say this is better than retinol as it's got one less conversion to do this product doesn't irritate me at all. Start on the 3, move to the 6 then up to the 10.Holy grail!
