This is my go to highlighter. I prefer a subtle highlight and this strobe stick has very fine shimmer and no glitter chunks. To apply, I swipe the product with ...

  1. hit and miss

    Alex

lovely shimmery highlighter that doesnt glitter up your face, just be careful with your application because that's where it can go wrong. Never apply straight from the stick onto your face make sure you warm it up on your hand first otherwise this can be a bit of a trainwreck product. I also found that it drys out really fast in the packaging pretty fast for a non liquid product.
  2. Shimmer Queen

    Leigh

Such a pretty shimmery highlighter. Has a very dewy appearance
  3. Subtle results with little staying power

    M

I’ve been repurchasing this for a few years now, as it’s cheap and I know what I’m getting! I have very fair skin and obvious cheekbones, so I don’t need much highlighter tbh. The lighter shade is perfect for me. It’s smooth in texture and I use it as the last step, after foundation and before setting. I apply the stick straight to my cheekbones and blend a little. do find that the powder highlig...

  4. Great for day time

    Cass

This is my go to highlighter. I prefer a subtle highlight and this strobe stick has very fine shimmer and no glitter chunks. To apply, I swipe the product with my finger then dot it onto the cheek bone and tap to blend. If you apply the stick straight to the cheek you could smudge the foundation underneath.
  5. Cream to powder texture

    Amy

I have this in nude and while it was a nice colour, I wish the formula gave a bit of a dewier effect? It has a cream to powder texture and I find the powder slightly emphasises pores. I like a natural look and I find this still does a good job though.
  6. Bit chalky

    TDev

Didn't love it. Wasn't easy to blend and was pretty chalky. There's lots out there that you could try at a similar price.
  7. Alright

    Caitlyn

Not my favourite highlighter. I prefer powder highlighter but it's still pretty
  8. Okay

    LS

Gives very subtle glow and the product has to be warmed up before using otherwise it chalks up.
  9. Not the best illuminater

    Bee

I bought this a few months back as I had run out of my usual illuminator and wanted to use a cheaper alternative in the meantime. Unlike some of Maybellines products where they deliver great results in a lower price bracket, this wasn’t the case here. I found it cakey and just didn’t enjoy the feel of it on my skin. I’ve returned to my powder, sadly more expensive, alternative.
  10. Nice Glow

    Sylvia

I apply the illuminator with my fingers and it gives a subtle and sophisticated glow. Using the product straight from the stick makes it go on a little thickly and can move other already applied makeup around.
  11. Not bad

    Singh

I like the packaging as it can be carried in a purse and glow on the go but it fades away when applied on top of the foundation. Under the foundation works better.
  12. Nice glow, hard to apply

    Ally

This product does highlight my skin well, however if you apply it using the stick, it wipes off your other makeup. I use my finger to apply it and this seems to work, but is annoying. Overall, it is a nice product and leaves a nice glow.
  13. Not the best

    Sui

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with this, broke me out
  14. always get compliments on it

    Jessica

I alternate between this one and the liquid version and people always compliment me on it. Pretty good for a relatively cheap product that's easy to get your hands on
  15. Great highlighter

    Mg

This is so. easy to apply to the skin. It gives that natural glow to the skin.
  16. gives a light glow

    perfecting skin

it is very creamy yet smooth highlighting stick. easy to apply and gives a light glow
  17. thickkkk

    alex543

This looks amazing when you swatch it on your hand but it applies really horribly. The formula is super thick and takes off all of your other makeup when you apply it. The only thing i successfully used it for before i threw it out was as an inner eye highlight.
  18. Lovely glow but moves foundation

    Ella

This stick gives a lovely sheen and glow, but like others have mentioned, when I have a full face it moves and breaks up my foundation which is really frustrating. Looks gorgeous if you are having a no/minimal makeup day, but more often than not, I want a highlight when I have foundation on. If used I find you still also need to apply powder highlighter on top to give it a boost unless you want it...

  19. Not great

    AP

Very heavy and thick, you have to apply before foundation otherwise it moves it around. It made me break out.
  20. Good

    Sam

I find that this product is okay if you dont have a full face of makeup on but if you do be careful as it tends to move your foundation.
  21. natural glow

    Merve

This is a pretty good highlighter, it give you that natural glow.
  22. Okay highlighter

    Sinz2

It was an okay highlighter, but I guess it was not for me ! I don't prefer the stick ones! , but each person does have their own preference. I would re purchase it if I had too
  23. Great

    Tena

Great highlighter creates a natural glow
  24. Great budget friendly Highlight

    JV

    Great value for money
Has a medium strength for the highlight when put under foundation. Gives a nice subtle highlight.
Works well when paired with a powder highlight over all products to give more dimension.
But if you don’t want a strong/intense highlight bits perfect, would be good for daytime.
  25. Gorgeous on bare skin, but moves foundation

    Emm

If you're the kind of girl to rock bare skin, yet love popping on a little extra glow- this highlighter is great. However, I dare say this would be a very small demographic of us ladies.
I was so excited when swatching this on my hand- looks fantastic- smooth and glowy, without being glittery.
But it moves/breaks up my foundation! I've tried using fingertips and a blender.

  26. Easy to use

    Jessica

Easy to use and even apply on the collarbone to add a bit of shimmer.
  27. Dont be fooled by the price, this is my HG

    Lisa

I've tried a bunch of highlighters and this is the one I prefer, even to the more expensive ones. I'm pale and I love the light one, it just looks really good.
  28. Average cream highlighter

    Helena

The price is ok. You can buy this on sale at the chemist less than $10 if you are lucky. It does highlight however I noticed the it doesn't stay all day. It is ok highlighter. If you want a long lasting one, I would pay extra to get a better one.
  29. so gorg

    monique

absolutely stunning on the skin. if you have oily skin i defs recommend setting it with a powder highlight. lasts all day if set down and looks stunning on medium skintones
  30. Ok

    Sarah

I did not particularly like the stick highlighter although I love the powder highlighter from Maybelline.
  31. Creamy and Shimmery

    JohnnyM

I love this strobing stick. While it may not be as “blinding” as some other brands. I find it such a great highlight to put over your temples and cheekbones. It blends so well and you can build it up a bit too. For the price point, this is a really good strobing stick. Adds instant and easy glow!
  32. Glow from within

    Grace

I love to go for a fresh glowing look, wanting to relatively natural and often struggle with the heavy look of powder highlighters and have had trouble finding a stick highlighter until I came across this and thought I’d give it a go. Is now a staple in my everyday makeup, not to strong but just the perfect amount of sheer glow that brightens my face and blends so nicely, always get asked what pro...

  33. Nice

    Don

Nice cheap highlighter that isn’t glittery but creates a pretty and natural glow
  34. good for beginners

    Christina

This is the first cream highlighter I tried and I like that it's not as messy as powder. It can be easily blended and I love the colour. However, it's not very pigmented and only lasts 1-2 hours.
  35. inexpensive but you get what you pay for

    Linda

I love trying out drugstore products and trying this highlighter was lovely. The product has a nice subtle shimmer to it. It's considerably pigmented though I don't like this product as much as other highlighters I have tried. The overall product is great but I found it hard to blend on my skin.
  36. Great Highlight

    Alex

This is my absolute favorite highlighter to use. I used to use an expensive one from a prestige brand, and it would constantly wear off and be unnoticeable. When I decided to give this one a try, I got compliments almost immediately. It's super pigmented, and will stay all day, especially if you use setting spray after you apply.
  37. Really good for the price

    Kellee

After using this highlighter,I got compliments almost immediately. It's super pigmented, and will stay all day, especially if you use setting spray after you apply. I would say it is comparable to high end highlighters. Definitely recommend trying it!
  38. Obsessed

    Josie

Pretty nice cream highlighter, especially since it's so cheap. I can put this under my foundation as a glowy primer or over it, or even on its own on a natural day. Quite nice and I like the shade
  39. Lovely glow

    Ellie

Beautiful cream highlight gives a natural, subtle glow. Love this for every day wear and it is quite cheap which is always nice if you're on a budget.
  40. Love this highlighter

    Nell

I love cream highlighters and this has been one of my favourites recently. Gives such a natural, nice glow and is so cheap. The colours work much better than some sephora ones on my skin tone (Light) for some reason, so this is my top choice.
  41. Nice product

    Emily

I have been using this every day of late, after I have applied my foundation, I sweep this product on my cheek bones and on the tip of my nose and blend into my liquid foundation with my beauty sponge, it leaves a "glow from within" type look, very natural. Its also a great layering product to make your highlight pop, using this under a powder highlight for that little bit extra!
  42. Not worth $16

    Rose

For the price I don't think this product is worth while. If it were at a lower price point it would be a good, cheap addition to your make up collection, however at $16 its a bit steep for an average product. Doesn't blend well with fingers or brush, found I had to work it in with a beauty blender. A bit too gold for my fair skin tone to use with everyday makeup, so havn't gotten a great deal of u...

beautiful everyday highlight! amazing and I wear this all the time for a natural glow on my cheeks, nose and brow bone. beautiful shade.
  44. Decent priced highlgihter

    Alexandra

This highlighter comes in a handy little stick that you can roll up and down. Careful applying it after foundation—I did so and it stripped my liquid and powder foundation, leaving a big gap in my cheekbone. Perhaps make sure you’ve blended your base liquid and powder foundations before putting it on, or apply it with a proper brush/dab on very gently. A nice coloured highlighter at an affordable ...
