The old formulation looked and felt more clay-like and had Beeswax as it's number 2 ingredient. Now, the formulation includes no beeswax at all. This paste was way too thick and heavy for my thick hair. It held the curls well but I found it to be a lot heavier and greasier than I had expected. I will definitely stick to their hairsprays instead as they are much lighter!!By far the best eleven product for hold
