Most Helpful Criticism

it's ok
Can't speak for how much this really does but it does leave a nice glow and is quite light which I like
  1. Worth the hype

This product has transformed my skin in a way i never thought was possible. I use it under makeup and sometimes even just on its own and my skin feels so refreshed and hydrated and i can not recommend this enough
  2. Lovely moisturiser and setting spray

Sometimes I use this as a toner but mostly as a setting spray. I use the Cinch moisturiser too but this gives you that extra glow... Beautiful!
  3. It was okay, but wouldn’t purchase again

I wanted to love this product after reading rave reviews but it didn’t really do anything for my skin other than leave a slight glow. It made my skin feel tight and my makeup applied strangely over the top. Only used a couple of times and then sadly it sat in my bathroom cupboard.
  4. Glowy

It confers indeed a beautiful glow
  5. Good for on the go

This is great for when you need to get ready quick. the spray is not to bad and absorbs easily.
  6. Cinch Face Cheat Moisture + Glow

I originally bought the sample size and absolutely loved it, so I went back and bought the full size! Loving it so far.
  7. Hydrating & Glowy

Purchased this after reading all the good reviews. Felt good to apply and seems to be quite a decent sized product. Definitely gave my skin that glow feel/look people talk about.
  8. Outstanding Product! Obsessed!!

I have been using Cinch Face Cheat for a while now as I have 2 toddlers and I wanted a product that allowed me to spray and go! Yes I’m obsessed - love how it makes my skin feel and the subtle glow it gives! I also use it to set makeup and as a quick highlighter at times. I recently added the cleanser and moisturiser to my routine and again love the ease of all three products combined and how they make my skin feel and look! I’ve recommended it to my sisters and friends!
  9. Interesting!

I didn't mind this primer - however I wouldn't RAVE about it. No skin irritation and my makeup sat well, maybe only lasted a little longer than usual. Interesting product - like that it has a number of multi-uses available.
  10. New favourite

This product has transformed my skin in a way i never thought was possible. I use it under makeup and sometimes even just on its own and my skin feels so refreshed and hydrated and i can not recommend this enough
  11. Love it!!

I’ve been using this moisturiser for some time now. I love it! It leaves my skin feeling fresh and with a slight glow. Before using Cinch I would never walk out of the house without makeup, but now I’ll leave with just this on!
  12. Versatile

    Skin type: combination/oily

I love versatile products, great primer, refresher, or toner, feels good on the skin too.
  13. A-mazing!

I purchased this product after reading an insta-review of how a few spritzs of this will leave you not needing makeup.....and whilst it does give you a lovely glow without your face on, I have found that spraying just two sprays over my finished makeup'd face gives me a dewy, glowy finish that has earned so many, how do I look so fresh comments. Ha! I cheat! I was spraying KORA Rosespray over my finished makeup for freshness but this has now firmly replaced that in my makeup family. Onto my second bottle and never turning back!
  14. Not too shabby!

I didn't mind this primer - however I wouldn't RAVE about it. No skin irritation and my makeup sat well, maybe only lasted a little longer than usual.
  15. Not great

Unfortunately this wasn't for me. I found that it smelt very chemically and actually gave me a burning sensation. Under makeup it looks okay but I don't think my skin likes it. Don't recommend this for sensitive skin.
  16. W O W !

This product is worth every cent and more!!!
It is lightweight and glides on to my skin beautifully. It is easy to use and I use it both under and over makeup. Best thing is that it makes me look fresh even when I’m definitely not!
Gives my skin a gorgeous dewy glow.
    Absolutely love this product.
  17. Not good for sensitive skin

Not the best product for sensitive skin. This made my skin super itchy and broke me out like crazy. Also left a slimy residue on my skin and didn't sit well with my makeup.
  18. I had previously never had a skin care routine for my face but since discovering Cinch I won't look back.

I had previously never had a skin care routine for my face (due to laziness and had sensitive skin) but since discovering Cinch I won't look back. I didn't find the moisturising enough when I sprayed it directly on my face but when I spray it into my hands it's perfect. My skin now feels so smooth.
  19. Magic Potion!

My daughter convinced me to buy this and I am a bit sensitive so don’t often change brands. I was using an $80 product previously but happy to say I’ll be sticking with this one. My friends are all commenting on my glowing skin. It was also great after my long flight to refresh my skin! I think it’s like magic.
  20. it's ok

Can't speak for how much this really does but it does leave a nice glow and is quite light which I like
  21. Great Product but the Smell!!

Great Product but the SMELL is horrible. I will not repurchase this only because of the smell, it is so unpleasant.
  22. Too Much Hype

This product seemed like it had cult status so I purchased without even thinking, hoping it would give my makeup a dewy glow. Nope. Nothing. A cheap aloe vera spray would've done more.
  23. Don’t understand the hype

This product clearly wasn’t for me, I really don’t understand the hype with it at all. I wanted to like it so much, and yes it did give some glow but it didn’t last long. The spray bottle is also quite poor quality and it doesn’t spray nice and evenly at all, no matter how much I shake it.
Definitely also does not provide any moisture.
  24. Too greasy

I really wanted to love this product as the idea is fantastic! However, it just didn't work for me. It left a slippery residue on my face and the ground surrounding me and did not get into the skin to moisturise enough. I also found that my super sensitive skin reacted as it was itchy and broke me out. I have dry skin and it just didn't moisturise my skin at all.
The only reason why I give this 2 stars is because it does leave a beautiful glow on the skin.
  25. So hydrating and perfect as a primer

This product is the perfect all in one to wear as a moisturizer or as a base for your make up. I found that make up stays on longer and my face feels quite moisturised! I have quite sensitive skin and this product was wonderful. 100% recommend.
  26. Super hydrating

Makes my makeup application look and feel better when i use this beforehand
  27. can't go without it!

I have oily full skin and this product is a god send! I use it before applying make up and it brightens my face, gives it life and works as a great base. On days I don't wear makeup this gives my face a little glow and makes me look and feel so much more presentable. Would reccomend it to everyone and anyone!
  28. Not for me

I am one of those people who really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately it did absolutely nothing for me except sting my skin when I sprayed it onto my face. I tried spraying it onto my hands first then patting it on, but this also did nothing, except leave a golden glow on my palms.
Unfortunately this did nothing for my complexion or skin hydration. Based on my experience I would not recommend this product however there are some glowing reviews for it, and everyone's different.
  29. Happy

I really like that. It makes my skin look smooth and glowing. No makeup necessary. It has an unpleasant chemical smell when applied but it disappears quickly. Ive purchased this when Adore Beauty had the 2 for 1 deal and I’m glad I did.
It might have the potential to break me out when used day after day after day - I once used it 7 days in a row and some little problems eventuated - but now I don’t do that and all is good.
  30. Perfect for dry underunder eyes

I tried using this product at the end of my skincare routine and before makeup, unfortunately anytime I did this it made my face an oily mess. I then tried using it as a setting spray over makeup however this also didn't work as the spray isn't a fine mist and the product is very milky so it created blotchy patches to my makeup. For what the product is intended for I would rank it a 0/10......HOWEVER, I have extremely dry under eyes and no eye cream seems to hydrate my under eyes enough to not still look dry and flaky after applying face powders, I tried patting this product only to my under my eye area before makeup and it is the only product that allows me to wear powders under my eye and let it still look hydrated so for this purpose it is now a holy grail staple.
  31. Unconvinced by this one!

I liked the idea of having one simple step but I am a bit confused by what the spray does - unfortunately it’s not nourishing enough for me to consider using it as a moisturiser alone, and the active ingredients mean that I would be wary using it during the day because I would want a lot of SPF on with it. The smell is a little funky, and the nozzle tends to spray too much in one spot.

I wanted to love this but I think I will go back to serums and rosewater mist!
  32. Nice addition to routine

I work in a factory so this is nice for freshening up during the day and boosting my makeup. I have very dry skin so I always want extra moisture and I like that this has a little glow to it, even if I wouldn't say it necessarily does everything it says it does.
  33. A Very Hydrating, Soothing Mist

I think what this mist does confuses people and myself included, BUT if you remember that it is a hydrating mist with active ingredients to boot, it makes it easier to work out how it would work best for you. I wouldn't use it in place of a moisturiser, however, it saved my skin when it was super dry and crusty from a seriously strong retinol product (I was using a prescription vitamin A cream as an acne treatment). When my skin became itchy and super dry throughout the day, I would use the mist to give me some relief. It can leave white droplets on the skin, but if you pat the mist in lightly with your fingers, the colour disappears and leaves skin soothed. Doing this also doesn't disturb makeup. They probably could update the spray nozzle so you get a finer spray. It's a great product in my eyes :)
  34. Disappointed

I’m not sure what I expected from this product, but I was really disappointed. Firstly, I found the product has a weird smell to it. Then, when I sprayed in onto my skin, it actually felt like it was burning my skin. Although I do have sensitive skin. I then tried to use it as a setting spray, but the nozzle sprayed the product out in big droplets, which ruined my makeup with white patches. I tried to fix the nozzle but nothing has made a difference.
I love the idea of this product and I want to like it, but it just missed the mark unfortunately.
  35. love this little gem.

I bought this mainly to spritz my face after makeup application to leave a gentle subtle glow, it leaves a gentle radiance to my skin and helps keep makeup I place. The best thing about this wonderful spray is that I now use it on makeup free skin and it makes my skin look polished, bright and radiant with no makeup. Love it.
  36. Not for sensitive skin

I love the idea of this product, sadly it does not suit my sensitive skin. When I applied it, it stung. It didn't feel very moisturising but that might have been because of my skin's reaction to it. I also found it didn't have any effect on the size of my pores but did leave my skin with a nice glow.
  37. "Instant Glow & Refresh"

I love this little Spritz- Its perfect for application whenever I feel that my skin is dry!
It instantly revitalizes my skin & has it glowing for the rest of the day!
  38. Tingle, Moisture & Glow!

I have normal skin and this spray is a lovely addition into my regime. In summer can be used alone after toner and serum but in winter I still pair with another moisturiser after toning and serum. Add a lovely glow which can be intensified when using fingers. I found after trial and error that it is better applied with hands than just spraying full face as it seem to not spray evenly and tingle my eyes.
  39. Glow Glow Baby!

This has become one of my daily makeup routine essentials!
My skin can get a little oily throughout the day so oil based primers or serums are usually a big no-no. This product gives my skin a beautiful glow and eliminates the need for a primer. I just spray 2-3 pumps into the palm of my hand and gently work over my clean face in the morning before applying makeup. I sometimes add a little to my foundation brush for a bit of extra glow power.
    Definitely would recommend!
  40. A bit gimmicky, but good.

I would hesitate to call this skincare as having used it, it is not hydrating enough and functions much better as a spray for finishing makeup. The amount of vitamin c in here really is negligible, but sprayed over the top of any powder, this makes the skin look more luminous and not powdery or cakey. This is thanks to the dimethicone and mica which helps to even out the look or skin and reflect light.

  41. One of my absolute must-have skincare products.

Love this stuff - I always have it on hand (I keep one in my handbag, one at work, one in my car etc...) It makes my makeup look fresh, and my skin so glowy and beautiful. One of my absolute must-have skincare products.
  42. As a primer: brilliant for hydration & glow!

Cinch is a makeup saviour for dry and dull skin! However, I have to address that I don't think it does literally everything it promises (which makes sense because there's a lot of promises here) at least not on my combination skin.

I want to talk about how this works as a primer. I never know where to start talking about products that are multipurpose, particularly when they specifically say that it will replace multiple products in my routine. HOWEVER, Cinch does replace my primer and highlighter when I'm having a dry skin day, and it is definitely super hydrating... I just wouldn't replace my SPF with it!

Now, my skin is normal to combination, so I'm prone to dry patches on my cheeks and chin, and I can get oily down the t-zone.

I give this 5 stars because of the way it makes my foundation look when I mist it over my usual skincare routine before applying makeup.

I LOVE this when used with mineral makeup or tinted moisturiser. It just gives you this incredible, lit from within, 'yeah I woke up like this' dewy glow. And because it's so, so plumping and does visually soften lines, I think anyone with mature skin will absolutely adore this.

As a primer, this is definitely as hydrating and glowy as it gets. If you've been eyeing off more expensive primers that give a glow to the skin, try out Cinch first. It's not shimmery but it does give a sheen, which you can take from subtle (by misting it on) or more dramatic (by spritzing into your palm and applying with your hands).

You can use this as a highlighter too - spritz it into your hand, and dab anywhere on the skin you want to highlight. Or, try mixing this with your foundation for this incredible, subtle radiance.

So - while my skin can't use this as a face mist, or as a replacement for a moisturiser, I absolutely love this as a glowy primer. Normally I would be more harsh on a product with so many claims, but I do think for a primer it's a 5-star product.

This is a must have for dry, dull skin types!
