Are your skincare products alcohol free?

More and more, people are concerned with alcohol free skincare, whether they be cleansers, toners, moisturisers or any skincare product in between. We hear ya! Certain alcohols, especially drying alcohols such as alcohol denat and ethanol can wreak havoc on some skin types. At the same time, they’re often a common ingredient - finding an alcohol free moisturiser for oily skin for example can be a real minefield, as this is often what gives these products a lightweight, matte finish. Have no fear though, all products within the Clean Beauty selection are drying alcohol free, so whether you’re after an alcohol free toner for sensitive skin or for acne prone skin, or are after an alcohol free face wash for sensitive skin - anything found within this category is a safe bet.

Do you carry phenoxyethanol free products?

Phenoxyethanol is often used as a preservative in skincare ingredients, but many people are concerned with allergies, or not knowing what percentage it’s used at. Thankfully, we do carry plenty of phenoxyethanol free skincare! All our products within this category are free from phenoxyethanol, in any percentage. When you're reaching for your non toxic moisturiser, you can rest safe in the knowledge that it won't contain any nasties - even in super small amounts. 

Do you stock certified organic skin care products?

Organic certification is a long and complicated process that can often be prohibitively costly for smaller businesses, so we've made the decision to keep our smaller, curated collection of organic beauty products in a specific section, without penalising those companies who are otherwise producing amazing natural skincare but who are not certified. So if you're looking for an organic face mask or the best organic toner, you'll still be able to shop it - and we are still proudly the destination for the top organic skin care items.
