It's one of my new favourite hair product. My scalp is a lot more refresher every time I use this product before wash. Hair is a lot less oily after a couple weeks of use. Noticeable difference. Highly recommend.One of the best products for dry, irritable scalps

I use this to cleanse my scalp, with the help of their non-tangling brush, and I can feel and SEE the dead flakes coming off my scalp. I let it sit on my scalp for about 10 mins. before shampooing, and then before styling my hair I use the pH balance Aveda sells (can't remember the name, but is in smaller bottle and is the same color as this product). I received a sample of this product and am still unsure if it works.
After i used it i did feel that my scalp was cleaner and it did purify my scalp but i'm not to sure if it made my scalp less oilier- I still feel I needed to wash my hair the same amount of times.

I don't have any serious scalp concerns but I do notice build up, which can become flakey. Every now and then when my hair needs a good clean this is my go to. I apply it before hopping in the shower, massage it in for a few minutes on dry hair, then lather and rinse in the shower prior to shampoo. Aveda Pramasana Cleanser is a great scalp Cleanser is removes and reduces build up on the scalp, I have really oily hair and its great as a pre-shampoo as it is very cleansing product!
its also helps sooth any irritation and redness on the scalp and targets to reduce dandruff!Irritated my scalp a bit
I got a sample of this from Aveda, as I'd been using their Scalp Benefits shampoo for years and was told that they weren't going to sell it any more and that the scalp cleanser would be replacing it. It worked somewhat well but left my scalp feeling irritated (I might have left it on my scalp for too long). Like it, but would prefer to stick to the scalp benefits shampoo.love
I'm glad there are finally products for scalp health! After I used it, it was like a did a detox mask for my scalp! It really felt clear of oil and build up. I also have dandruff so it helps a lot with that. I would suggest using pretty regularly. Being in london with very hard water, it takes a toll on hair and scalp. Thanks for creating this Aveda!like

Great scalp cleanser! I have never had my scalp feel so clean. This product with the Aveda Scalp Remedy Dandruff Solution works well to get rid of a flaky scalp and moisturizes the scalp without making oily!
